
Daria Plotkina

Dr. Daria Plotkina is Associate Professor at EM Strasbourg Business School, University of Strasbourg, where she teaches and conducts research at the intersection of digital marketing, consumer behavior, technology-mediated experiences, and marketing analytics. Her research examines how consumers interact with digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, immersive environments, social media, FinTech applications, and digital platforms, with particular attention to trust, customer experience, vulnerability, and responsible technology use.
She has extensive experience teaching undergraduate, graduate, and executive audiences in France and abroad. Her teaching portfolio includes Digital Marketing Strategy, International Consumer Behavior, Consumer Behavior, Online Reputation Management, Marketing Analytics and Data-Driven Strategies, Quantitative Research Methods, and Digital Divide. She regularly combines academic foundations with applied managerial tools, case studies, data analysis, and hands-on projects to help students connect theory with strategic decision-making.
Her work is strongly oriented toward the managerial implications of digital transformation. She is particularly interested in how firms can design more effective, trustworthy, inclusive, and customer-centered digital strategies. In addition to her teaching and research activities, she has held several academic leadership responsibilities at EM Strasbourg Business School, including coordination of marketing and information systems activities and cross-programme responsibilities for Master’s programmes.
