Luiza Bădin is associate professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The core topics of her teaching are Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Statistical Hypothesis Testing, Applied Mathematics in Economics. Current research projects include methodological developments in conditional frontier models with applications to the efficiency analysis of the decision making units. Her work has been published in Econometric Theory, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions of Evolutionary Computation, Annals of Operations Research. At the Masters of Business Analytics she will be teaching Business Literacy for Data Analysis, a course that helps students understand the data analysis process and the crucial role that variability plays in drawing conclusions based on data.
